Yemen unrest caught on cell phone

 

Yemen has entered a seventh day of mass protests, with clashes breaking out between pro-government and anti-government demonstrators.

Scenes of street turmoil were filmed by bystanders with mobile phones.

Crowds of people have been taking to the streets in Yemen’s main cities, demanding better governance and an end to corruption.

The country’s government has deployed thousands of police on the streets of the capital, Sanaa, to disperse protesters.

Several people have been reported killed or injured in the riots.
